Wonderful experience! Flavors of the past, strong and balanced, with typical products, all cooked in antique pots over wood.Abundant dishes, particular location (beautiful wooden chairs) and attentive and sociable staff!

Excellent quality food, traditional cuisine in copper and terracotta pans, to relive what the true Calabrian flavors are, fresh and tender meats. Impeccable service, the owner is attentive to everything and the place is welcoming and clean, I highly recommend it!

When in Calabria you don't know where to go for dinner, you always find some flyer or some local person who can give good advice.This time it was thanks to a flyer that we discovered this characteristic place where we were able to taste excellent and above all abundant local dishes.Even if we have to wait a year, we will definitely be back.

Very characteristic restaurant, the location is not the best, located in a small street between several houses but the environment is very welcoming. We ordered an abundant and well-varied starter, genuine and very tasty food. A friend of mine had a plate of simple but exceptional spaghetti with tomato sauce!Roast lamb with potatoes cooked to perfection! Absolutely to return! Excellent bill given the generous portions and the quality.

When I want to find genuine, zero-mile food cooked with the love that a grandmother would give it, this is the place where I always end up. Strictly grilled cuisine with almost all home-made products, with a huge appetizer that could already fill you up. If you want to go further, the raw tasting is exceptional. First and second courses reflect the tradition of Calabrian cuisine, with pasta (homemade) topped with veal and meatballs, or with fresh sausage and olives and more. Not to mention the lamb, always very tender and served in the crock. Upon request you can also eat fish: I recommend cod, a true delicacy placed in the hands of the chef. All in the setting of a refurbished former stable at the foot of the historic galea tower, with an always attentive and courteous service that always makes you feel pampered at home and always makes you want to return. Very honest prices, given that you always leave with a more than full stomach.

We returned yesterday with my wife for the second time and it was a pleasant confirmation, excellent quality food cooked on the fire with tastes and smells worthy of the best Calabrian tradition, wine served splendidly in the earthenware "cortara". Very warm and welcoming location, beautiful chairs and spectacular hanging lanterns that radiate a beautiful WARM light , friendly and kind staff who make you feel at home, highly recommended!!!
